Straight arms pull a rope from the high pulley down to your thighs, working the lats alone.

- Cable station
How to do it
- 1Attach a rope to the high pulley. Take an end in each hand and step back.
- 2Lean forward slightly with your arms straight out in front, a small bend in the elbows.
- 3Sweep the rope down in an arc to your thighs, spreading the ends apart at the bottom.
- 4Let it rise slowly back to the start, keeping your arms straight.
Coach's tips
- Your elbows stay almost straight. If they bend, it becomes a triceps exercise.
